Two boats will take alumni, their friends and family across to spend the day on McNabs Island on Saturday, August 20, 2011.
Departure time (approx): 10 a.m. from Fisherman’s Cove, Eastern Passage
Return time (approx): 3:30 p.m.

Join us for an informal after-work gathering with Dr Chris Moore, Dean of the Faculty of Science. This is an opportunity to meet with Dr Moore, with fellow alumni and retired faculty, and catch up on what’s happening within the Faculty of Science.
Light snacks and a cash bar will be available.

The deadline for submissions has been extended! Deadline for images is Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 4 p.m. Atlantic time.
We’re looking for photos and images for the 2012 edition of the Science As Art calendar produced by the Faculty of Science.
All Faculty of Science students, staff, faculty members, alumni and retired faculty are encouraged to submit their photos and images.
Past submissions include insects, plasma globes, protoplasts, immunolabelled cells, data representations, and more. We’d love to see GIS/ mapping images, or mathematical images.
Entries for the 2012 Science As Art Faculty of Science calendar competition will be on display on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the lobby of the Life Sciences Centre, outside the food court. The original date was Wednesday, March 23, 2011.
