This week-long events takes for one week in the month of August at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

During the week, 40 students from across the province will take part in a wide range of ideas from mathematical, physical, life and applied sciences. Daily activities include small group laboratory experiments and demonstrations in several disciplines as well as an earth sciences field trip (weather permitting). Social and athletic activities are also planned each day.

Students live in university residence for the duration of the program; a block of rooms is reserved for them in one area of the residence; meals will be provided for the entire group in the residence cafeteria. Senior female and male Dalhousie student chaperones will be employed for the purpose of ensuring a warm reception and to offer guidance and supervision for the participants. Chaperones eat and live with the students throughout the week.

Each spring, Nova Scotia schools are sent an invitation letter to nominate 2 students from their school to attend this exciting week-long event!
