  • 2010 Faculty of Science Calendar - Error

The holiday dates and content published in the 2010 Faculty of Science Calendar are checked thoroughly prior to going to print. However, there was an error that missed the eye of our team.

Remembrance Day was placed on November 12, rather than November 11. We apologize for the oversight and the inconvenience this may have caused.

There is a new date to be noted in November. In January, Dalhousie University announced that Friday, November 12 will be a new day off for students. The Dalhousie Senate has approved a “Fall Study Day,” to take place this year on Friday, November 12. With a holiday on November 11, Remembrance Day, the extra day off provides for a four-day weekend in November.

But it's only for students. The university will remain open.
